Foreign spouses who have completed the marriage registration with a Korean national. Also Korean nationals inviting a spouse who is abroad.

An administrative agent can do this for you.
🔴 To invite a spouse from one of the 7 designated countries (China, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Thailand), the Korean spouse has to complete the international marriage guidance program in person, and without the completion number the application will not even be accepted. If you cannot meet the income and housing requirements you will be refused. Extending this status costs 30,000 won, cheaper than other statuses.

  • Integrated application form, or application for a Certificate of Visa Issuance Confirmation (사증발급인정신청서)
  • Marriage certificate (혼인관계증명서), family relation certificate (가족관계증명서), resident registration copy (주민등록등본)
  • Certificate of completion of the International Marriage Guidance Program (국제결혼 안내프로그램)
  • The Korean spouse's proof of income and proof of housing
  • The foreign spouse's health check certificate, criminal record certificate from their home country, and proof of Korean ability
