I married a Korean and I want Korean nationality
혼인귀화(간이귀화) 허가 신청
People who have lived in Korea for 2 years or more since marrying their Korean spouse, or whose marriage is 3 years old and who have lived in Korea 1 year or more. Also people whose marriage ended through the spouse's death or disappearance or for reasons that were not their fault, and people raising a child who is a Korean national.
An administrative agent can do this for you.
🔴 If you do not renounce your original nationality or make the pledge not to exercise your foreign nationality within 1 year of the day you get Korean nationality, your Korean nationality disappears automatically. If the marriage has ended you need evidence that the other party was at fault, and that gets harder to gather as time passes, so get advice right after you separate.

Papers you usually need
- Naturalization application form (귀화허가신청서)
- Copies of your passport and Alien Registration Card (외국인등록증)
- The spouse's marriage certificate, family relation certificate, and resident registration copy
- Criminal record certificate from your home country (with apostille and Korean translation)
- Proof that you can support yourself, plus the Social Integration Program (사회통합프로그램) completion certificate or your Comprehensive Naturalization Aptitude Test (귀화적격 종합평가) score
