재외동포(F-4) 자격 변경·부여 및 국내거소신고
People who once held Korean nationality and their direct descendants, including ethnic Koreans from China and the former Soviet Union
An administrative agent can do this for you.
🔴 F-4 is restricted from simple labor work, so if you want to work in manufacturing or on a construction site, check what the status covers first (breaking it can get your status cancelled). Once you have the status you need to file a domestic residence report before banking, health insurance and mobile phones work; the residence card costs 35,000 won, and if you move you have to report the change within 15 days (free).
