재입국 허가

Registered foreigners who will be outside Korea for more than 1 year (2 years for permanent residents) and want to return

An administrative agent can do this for you.
🔴 Re-entry within 1 year is exempt, so there is nothing to apply for. Go past 1 year and your status disappears, so get the permit before you leave (30,000 won single, 50,000 won multiple, up to 2 years). Once you have left it is hard to undo.

The year and month you are allowed to stay until. Look for the period of stay on your ARC (foreigner ID card), not the card's issue date. It is fine if you are not sure.
