I worked more than a year but I didn't get my severance pay

Any foreign worker who worked at the same company for 1 year or more, 15 hours a week or more, and then left. You can claim even without a status.

An agent cannot do this one for you. You have to go to the office below yourself.Your company first, then the local labor office of the Ministry of Employment and Labor (고용노동부 지방고용노동관서); file a complaint (진정) there if you are still not paid
🔴 The right to claim severance pay expires after 3 years. Even if you received the departure guarantee insurance money, if it is less than the statutory severance pay the company has to pay you the difference. This is a labor law case, so go to a certified labor attorney or lawyer, a foreign worker support center, or the Ministry of Employment and Labor on 1350.
